What is our Building Fund?
The Nudgee College Building Fund is the cornerstone of our campus evolution, bridging our storied past with a world-class future. By supporting the ongoing renewal of our historic grounds and the development of cutting-edge facilities, the fund ensures that Nudgee College remains strong for generations to come. Your contributions directly safeguard our heritage, preserving iconic Queensland landmarks, while providing the modern, open environments our students need to thrive, ensuring Nudgee College sustains its enviable position as a leader in education and community spirit.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes. Any donation of $2 or more will receive a tax deduction. The Nudgee College Building Fund is endorsed as Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and entitled to receive donations that are deductible from the donor's income tax.
Donors will receive a tax receipt at the time they donate directly to their email. If you do not receive this receipt please contact Erina Hitchings - ehitchings@nudgee.qld.edu.au at any time.
What and when is Giving Day?
Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event organised by the Nudgee College Foundation with funds going towards the visionary re-development of our entire Flats Precinct.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM AEST on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and will end at 8:00 AM AEST on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
How do I make a donation?
Simply choose the amount you would like to gift, add it to your online cart and then proceed to check out. All donation amounts are in AUD.
Please note that any donation of $2 is tax deductible and you will receive an instant tax receipt.
Can I give by bank transfer or cheque?
In addition to credit card payments, the following options are also available when making your donation:
Bank Transfer or Cash Deposit: Please contact our Head of Philanthropy, Ms Erina Hitchings, foundation@nudgee.qld.edu.au or by telephone 07 3865 0313 for bank account information to enable a bank transfer or cash deposit. For security reasons we are unable to publicly list these bank account details.
Cheque: If making a donation by cheque, please make it payable to the Nudgee College Building Fund and mail or deliver to: c/o The Nudgee College Foundation, St Joseph's Nudgee College, 2199 Sandgate Rd, Boondall QLD 4034.
How will donations be acknowledged and can I make a donation on behalf of someone else?
Donors can choose for their gift to be recognised by their name (or a family name of their choice), on behalf of an organisation, in memoriam or tribute of someone else or they may wish to remain anonymous.
Please feel free to add a message of support with your donation.
Donors will appear on the donor wall on this Giving Day website, as well as in Behind the Stripes at the end of the year.
